Here's a newer version of Sirius, based on the design I did of him as a younger man.  Kind of a backwards evolution – I designed the old one first, then used it to design a younger Sirius, then decided the old one looked nothing like the young one so I redesigned this post-Azkaban Sirius from the younger one.  Am I making any sense?  It's like making ice from water and then melting that ice to get water again.

Ron in Divination, getting a lot of interference in his signal from the future.  If there ever was one to begin with.

Wow, look at the boring, stiff posing!  Okay, so I'm a bit hard on myself.  This is the scene where Percy interrupts Snape's hushed discussion with Dumbledore.

Aw, look, Harry's sleeping... this is probably the time Harry falls off his broom, or has some sort of Dementor fit, or is in the hospital wing towards the end of the book.  I didn't have a particular one in mind, just some time when he falls asleep with his glasses on.

Grab the chocolate!  It's a dementor!  (Though it could also be an Auditor or a Ringwraith, if you squint and turn your head slightly.)

Now, on to the older pictures from Book Three!  Or, you can go back to the main art page, or back to the very basic index page, if you dare venture that far in a single bound...

The Whomping Willow, looking deceptively innocent.
Here's Seamus's banshee (or, with the authentic spelling, beansidh, which means "female fairy" in Gaelic in case you were interested) which the boggart turns into.  Her left hand is all squished because of the curve of the paper, I drew her right in the gutter of my sketchbook and it didn't scan well.
